Terms and Conditions

• Payment methods accepted are cash, certifed cheque (Payable to: Power Audio Video Inc ), bank draft . Cheques made payable to cash will not be accepted. Alternatively you can send an email money transfer to: info@powerav.ca Password to be created: powerav


• Deposit is non-refundable. Canceling of function will result in forfeiture of deposit.


• Canceling partial services does not guarantee full value of canceled service to be credited/deducted from total payable. In some cases, deposits to third parties have been paid out, and therefore not recoverable.


• Discounted package prices will not be further discounted in the event that certain quantities of items are removed by the Client or cannot be utilized. For example- layout of hall, size of stage/head table, number of guest tables, decor, etc can all have an effect on usability of equipment. If discounted package is not booked, Client would need to revert to a la carte pricing.


• Additions to contract (additional equipment/services, etc) must to be made at least 7 (seven) business days prior to date of function. Additions can be added pending availability and must be done so in writing.


• In the event that the Client's hall configuration changes such that Client is moved to larger hall, or an additional hall is added in venue- Client agrees to be responsible for any difference in equipment rental price due to configuration change.


• Timings indicated on contract can be adjusted provided total amount of hours is not increased. A half hour (30 min.) grace will be given. If Client wishes to extend service, an additional charge of $50.00 per half hour will be payable after the initial half hour (30 min.) grace.


• If Power Av Inc is providing projection screens as per this contract- all slideshows for presentations must be burned as playable DVD movie format. USB keys will not be accepted. Alternatively, Client can provide own VGA enabled laptop to connect to screens. Should a Live Eye Feed be required, Videographer hired must provide own BNC or RCA cable with appropriate length. No guarantee is made that a Live Eye Feed is possible with HDMI input only cameras.


• If Power Av Inc is not providing projection screens as per this contract- Client must make arrangements directly with their provider on all matters concerning the projection screens. This includes formats and execution of presentations.


• Custom music edits of any kind (i.e. performances, group dances, 1st dance, etc) are not included as part of this agreement. Should Client require any music edits, a charge of $100.00 per hour will be applicable with a minimum 1 (one) hour charge. Charges will be quoted in advance for customer approval prior to any work performed.


• In some cases, adequate power may not be available for sufficient operation of Equipment. In those instances, additional power may be required to be ordered/arranged for. Client is and will be responsible for all costs associated with securing required power.


• In the event that sickness, injury, family emergency, or an act God prevents your assigned DJs presence, a replacement DJ of equal ability, suitability, and experience will be provided.


• Unlimited phone/email consultations can be made regarding your function- provided phone calls are made during business hours. An in person consultation can be arranged provided one is mutually deemed as necessary.
